The latest addition to our FR-S/86/BRZ Tuner Turbo Kits is our Version 3, GTX-R Tuner Turbo Kit for the 2012-2017 FR-S, GT-86 and BRZ. Designed around a powerful Garrett GTX-2867R Gen II (with a rated range of 275 HP - 550 HP) this updated kit features a larger, centered GReddy Type-24 intercooler and all the necessary hardware for a versatile tuner kit, that will be an ideal fit for both stock FR-S/86/BRZ engines, as well as fully strengthened FA20 engines.
GReddy dyno test showed a +130 WHP / +97 FT-LBS @ 11.75 PSI on a stock 2013 Scion FR-S with factory injectors and fuel pump, just adding a GReddy-tuned EcuTek Ecu, and a GReddy Evo3 70 MM exhaust, (Note: Tuning for more power will require additional fuel enrichment upgrades) But even more importantly, the mid-range torque from 3150-4750 RPMs are significantly improved over the stock torque curve.
The Tuner Turbo Kit includes: a top-mounted GReddy T620Z 10cm2 actuator turbo on an equal length 4-1 SUS header-type exhaust manifold with dual flex joints, SUS downpipe and cat-delete, free-flow Airinx AY-SB intake, short-routing intercooler piping, Type-24E front-mounted intercooler with cast end-tanks and all the necessary brackets, heat-shields, hoses, clamps, and gaskets.
