Introducing the RV6 Downpipe for the 2018-UP Accord equipped with the Turbocharged 1.5L (L15B7) engine. This downpipe replaces the highly restrictive OE precat/down with a free flowing contoured casting and 3.0 Inch tubing. We maintain the factory heat shield mounting points for thermal management. The entire assembly made of high quality 304 stainless steel and is TIG welded by our master welders in the USA.
The RV6 1.5T Accord downpipe was completely designed using Solidworks 3D modeling and our Romer CMM system for extremely precise measurements. The transition from turbo to tube was designed using advance flow analysis for maximum flow characteristics. This transition was then made into a high strength 304 stainless precision casting. This allows for a very durable product with optimize turbulence free flow.
On a turbocharged engine, we understand the importance of thermal management. This is especially important with the air intake path directly over the downpipe. That is why we designed this downpipe to maintain the factory heat shield.

What does ceramic coating do?
* Ceramic coating is a thermal barrier that keeps heat inside in the exhaust component for a cooler engine bay and higher exhaust velocities. All of our parts function flawlessly without the coating; however, it adds nice touch. Our parts are sent out and the coating is applied by professionals and is fully baked cured on ready to run. Both black and silver use the same base material. The silver is more expensive since it is polished.
