Product Description
These aluminum parts replace both the upper TGV housing and the plastic lower section of the intake mainfold on the 2015-2020 WRX and 2014-2018 Forester XT. The lower plastic section creates a large restriction due to both reduction in cross section as well as increasing the amount of surface area per cross section of airflow. Traditional TGVs only repace the upper TGV plate. This one piece replacement also reduces the amount of sealing surfaces and thus eliminates one more place for a boost leak to occur. Lower sealing surface is machined for OEM seal ring.
Now as part of the kit we include the proper plug covers to ensure water and debris won't get into the exposed TGV plugs! We also included four zip ties so the TGV plugs can be properly zip tied back to the harness so they don’t bang around and possibly create false knock events. TGV Housing Kits now include plug caps for the unused and exposed TGV plugs for no extra cost! These caps normally retail for $19.99 or more from other suppliers.
