Keep your engine cooler by upgrading to the COBB 1.1 Bar Coolant Reservoir Cap. This higher pressure cap increases the effective boiling temperature of the coolant in your vehicle's cooling system. The higher temperature allows the cooling system to absorb more heat. The cap increases pressure and does allow temperature to go up about 10 degrees before fluid boils, but does not reduce temperature. Avoiding boiling makes head gasket failure less likely.
Use the 1.1 Bar Coolant Reservoir Cap for the coolant expansion tank which sits atop the intake manifold on every turbocharged Subaru we support.
